DGS Café hosted a moderated conversation titled “Unlocking Mineral Potential: Insights into Saudi Arabia’s Resources” with guest Dr. Abdullah Wahbi, Geological Specialist in hard-rock mineral exploration. Dr. Rayan Kanfar, DGS Vice President of Technical Exchange, moderated.
The discussion looked at the role of mineral resources in the Kingdom’s economic diversification and energy transition, opportunities in underexplored sedimentary basins, and the growing use of advanced technology in mineral discovery. More than 80 participants joined the exchange on future exploration and rising demand for critical minerals.
